Andaman AIDA Freediving Competition 2012

9th to the 12th February 2012

Competitors, organisers, sponsors and judges loved so much the 2011 competition that we are already announcing the dates for 2012.

The programme will be as follows:

2nd - 8th February Optional Freediver training in the Sea with Blue Planet Divers (Reduced from 2,700 baht to 1600 baht for competitors)
9th February Sea Training day, Sea Announcements & Competition information to be carried out on the boat
10th February Sea Competition - Koh Haa (FIM, CWT, CNF)
11th February Pool Training day, Pool Announcements & Competition Information to be done poolside
12th February  Pool Competition - Royal Lanta Resort & Spa (Static, DYN, DNF)

Sponsors:  Aqualung & Royal Lanta Resort & Spa

Entry Price: 5000 baht

Includes:

  • Competiton t-shirt
  • Goody Bag from Aqualung
  • Insurance
  • Cost of Training days (9-12th) and refreshments on the boat
  • Hiring of Wetsuits, masks and fins

Not included:

  • Lanyard hire 100 baht
  • AIDA Membership

AIDA Competition

The Competition is run according to AIDA competition rules and contributes to individual and country World Rankings. See the AIDA website for Competition rules.
