Both the Open Water Course and the Scuba Diver Course have 3 elements that need to be completed for certification:
- Knowledge Development -
- Confined Water (Pool or Shallow Water) Skill Development -
- Open Water (Sea) Experience -
The PADI e-Learning Tool enables you to complete the Knowledge Development section from the comfort of your home leaving you more time to enjoy the sunshine and the wonderful diving we have here in Koh Lanta.
E-Learning Prices
The e-Learning section costs US$120 which is paid direct to PADI through the e-Learning website. If you arrive on Koh Lanta with all the relevant completed paperwork we offer your diving course at the reduced rate of XXXXXX. All our prices at Blue Planet Divers include the Open Water Manual, equipment and breakfast and lunch whilst you are completing your Open Water Sessions.
Using the PADI e-Learning Tool
You can use the e-Learning tool to self-teach all the required elements of Knowledge Development section but we also offer you an e-Instructor who is able to answer any queries or questions you may have that the PADI e-Learning tool cannot help you with.
Simply log on to the PADI e-Learning webpage using the link below and you are on your way.
Once you have completed your e-learning, simply print off all the completed sections and bring them to Blue Planet divers and your dedicated instructor will just review them with you at the start of the course. Then you are ready! and we can concentrate on actually diving!
