Time For Lime Bungalows

This funky little place with great atmosphere has 8 clean, cozy, budget bungalows some with fan some with AC. Free Wi Fi. Their Beach side Restaurant is one of the best on the Island. Their Mojitoes are even recommended in the Rough Guide. Time For Lime Cookery School, which was the first on the Island is on the same location as well.

All of Time For Limes profit goes to Lanta Animal Welfare, which helps animals in need and keeps the Island safe with their nuetering and Rabie vaccine programs. So by staying, eating & drinking there you also help to support this cause.

Time For Lime is located on the beach front at the southern end of Klong Dao, only 5 min. by car from the main town "Saladan".
If you are a early bird, see what’s going on with local fishermen and their children on their way to their boats (they make some noise when coming in the morning). If you are a VERY light sleeper, consider ear plugs, free of charge.

There is a small reef with fish activity right infront of the resort.

Bungalows

Those who enjoy staying here are people who appreciate a small, creative, personal, funky atmosphere, great food & drinks, groovy music and have a heart for animals If you rather prefer top-notch western flush toilets and TV, choose some where else.

All Rooms Have free Wi-FI, mini refrigerator, fan, mosquito net, bathroom, toilet w. eco Thai flush (check out our Thai toilet lesson) hot shower, working desk, small balcony with hammock.
Including Self-service breakfast for two people. (muesli, yogurt, fresh fruit, cornflakes, whole grain toast, coffee/tea, juice, jam butter, tomatoes, majo, mustard)

Bungalows are located less than 1 minute from the beach (only garden view). In order to keep prices down, and save environment we change towels and linen only on request, but do room-cleaning every day.

Restaurant & Bar

After nearly five years of running TIME FOR LIME'S Cooking School, many cooking students commented: This is the best and most beautiful food we have had on Koh Lanta and even in Thailand. Why don't you have a restaurant? So, they decided to take that advice and test-started their own small beach-front restaurant in the beginning of 2007 with fantastic feedback

TIME FOR TASTING!     
Time For Lime offers something different; An exciting Thai / fusion 6 dish TASTING MENU that changes every day! Homemade limey cheescake and other desserts are also available.
You can either enjoy a meal or cocktail on the beach or up in the Tree-Top restaurant, where you can relish the sunset breeze while peeking at what the cooking school "students" are creating down below.

THE BEACH BAR AND CHILL OUT LOUNGE
Their Mojitos are quite famous. Not only satisfied grins from customers, but they are even recommended in the Rough Guide. Junie the owner is a Margarita fan too, so she has been experimenting. Lemongrass or Chili Margarita Anyone? Many resorts and bars have tried to copy, but they can't seem to get the right taste?
Nice wine of course too, that goes well with Thai / fusion food all with reasonable prices.
