In our ECO Dive Center, you will learn about sea awareness in order to get to know conservation rules (Coral life course). Firstly, the program comprises of discovering a perfectly new world in which you will discover your own path. Secondly, we will bring you slowly to reach your first diving certificate. You will go through the first day by learning theory and underwater skills. Fianlly, the two following days are the best part of this course as you will be enjoying 4 full dives with your instructor and buddies. Explore and get acquaintance with undersea life!

Your Maximum Depth: 18 Meters

If you have tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving experience or resort course, the skills you have learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Diver course certification.

Please note that we do not allow more than 4 students per course!

Morning session: Completing the theory part by watching different sections and revising your knowledge (available online). Afternoon session: Fun with confined water! Meet the entire requirement by completing the confined water with the following skills: Buoyancy skills, including comfortable ascents and descents and breathing underwater. Skin Diving. Equipment Preparation and Care. Surface protocols. Underwater skills in shallow water. Underwater skills in deep water. Surface skills in deep water.
Open Water Dives in natural environment! We offer 2 dives per day to complete your required 4 Open Water Dives. These dives will not be at more than 12m depth (max depth for Junior Open Diver) and you will perform in the natural environment some of the skills you complete the previous day. Schedule of the day: Setting up of your scuba equipment under your instructor’s supervision. Learning about dive briefing. Open Water Dives by applying dive plans. Make a safety stop by using a buoy line. Rinsing properly a diving equipment. Debriefing of the day. Final reading exams.
You will use all the same basic scuba equipment that regular certified divers do. We have masks, fins, snorkels, buoyancy compensating jacket and wetsuits in all sizes. Our Equipement is yearly serviced for your safety by our dedicated certifed technician. We have mainly Scubapro brand which is a very competitive and strong equipment.
You must be fit for diving (see medical form below) and at least 10 years old. If you are 8 or 9 years old you can also experience the one day bubblemaker program.

  National Park fee - 600 THB per diving day

   Diving Insurance - 150 THB for the day. If you want to apply then you just need to send us a good scan / screen shot of your passport at least the day before. It covers all diving incidents!

My wife and I tried Discovery Diving with BPD. My wife can’t swim very well and got nervous a few times, but our instructor Corrina was very good and managed our dives calmly and expertly. James, the photographer, took some incredible pictures of our dives and we ended up purchasing them all. As first timers we thought maybe this was standard, but when we showed the photos to friends who went diving in Phi Phi island with a different operator (we didn’t ask who), they were blown away.

This was my first dive and I booked the discover scuba diving. I appreciate that the instructor was taking time to explain all the instructions and detailing what we saw after each dive. I felt like he had a lack of patience sometimes under water and that’s a pity when you work with beginners.. so I told him nicely to be patient. On board you have plenty of food and drinks which is always nice to have. Thanks to the thai guys for preparing everything but also by helping us to get off the water as it’s quite heavy. Overall it was a very good experience and I am looking forward to continue the Padi courses.

Absolute phenomenal! It was my first two-dive after OW certificate. I did a refresher course (if your last dive is more than a year ago you do a refresher for safety reasons), and my boyfriend did a DSD (Discover Scuba Diving). We had the best time and our instructor is really helpful! And the view was splendid. Saw a lot of fish and corals and other sea animals that I couldn't even name them! They also have a big boat with breakfast and lunch provided. If you want to experience the amazing underwater world of the Andaman Sea, just go to BPD and I promise you'll have a great time.
