  • star rating  Always excellent - I dive with BPD every time I visit Koh Lanta and never have I been disappointed. People are always nice and friendly and strive to help you in any way... read more they can - and having been in customer service myself I know it isn't easy to spend long time with your customers in a tiny space like catamaran or dive boat. So kudos to all BPD workers, Foreign and Thai alike.

    As a plus, currys they offer on the boat are always tasty. And this isn't a given when we talk about lunches you get on dive trips in general. Not that I am complaining, I'm fine as long as food is decent, which it usually is, but food being actually tasty too is a definite plus.

    Shout out to Bris in this case in particular, he's an excellent professional in what he does. Hope that is the correct way to write his name... :D

They pick up and drop off from your... read more hotel. The catamaran is large, clean and well appointed. Lots of room to chill between dives. Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided on board were really good quality. The quality of the diving gear is fine. There were two of us and we did 3 dives each for 2 days. Groups are small, with no more than 4 individuals per guide. Our guides, Brice and Mark were both excellent, both knowledgeable and attentive and really made our trip special. All the staff and the owner are very pleasant and helpful.
    Overall, am very impressed with Blue Planet Divers, would thoroughly recommend. Thank you to Blue Planet!

    They were extremely flexible and handled our large and unruly group with grace and professionalism.

  • star rating  Blue Planet is one of the only shops running a boat in Koh Lanta at the moment (Nov/Dec 2021) and was great to work with. Benjamin, the shop manager,... read more was very friendly and so helpful.
    The shop has recently opened their own on-site dive hotel - rooms are included if you book a package of multiple days diving with them. Rooms have been newly remodeled and are quite clean and comfortable.
    Big boat is spacious and stable, with breakfast & lunch provided as well as between dive snacks. You certainly won't go hungry! Group sizes were small with friendly & informative guides.
    I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to those interested in doing a course as well as experienced divers. The shop did a great job of grouping divers according to skill level, which is always appreciated. Package pricing was very good value for money.

    Be aware that dive sites from Lanta are a bit of a trek - unfortunately the shop's catamaran was not running when I was there, but when it is in operation it cuts down the trip time significantly. I would love to come back when it's in use as it is a gorgeous looking boat!

  • One of the bests scuba diving centers in ko Lanta. They offer free transfer, and they have one of the biggest boats, which is very comfortable for long range diving... read more trip. Also very kind and experienced Dive Masters. Moreover, there take care of everything, setting up all equipments, and then cleaning up after your dives. I will dive with them again!

  • I only had 3 days time in my vacation where I wanted to do my Open Water. All of that was connected to a lot of planning and compromising and... read more Blue Planet and especially Max didn't call anything of it a problem and made it possible for me to dive in that small amount of time I had. The course and the people at Blue Planet is amazing. From my Pool Sessions to the last dive I have felt welcomened on the boat and part of a diving family. The diving instructors are very professional and take their job very serious. I can only recomment doing your certifications with them. Brice was the best instructor I could have asked for. He had enough patience for all my questions, called out the mistakes I made but also told me what I really did well. He loves to explain everything in detail what is very helpful. It might be more pricey here than in Koh Lanta but the courses are profesional, you are never more than four students per instructor and if you are as lucky as I was you might even have a 1 on 1 class. Definitely my best experience I had over my 4 weeks in Thailand.

His schedule is tight. I'd awesome experience of Basic Diver course with Raf before. He has passion in diving and he knows how to address non-experience divers who may be nervous when jumping into the sea. He has good attitude and he's very professional, high patient and kind. Highly recommended!

  • We had an absolutely amazing dive trip to Koh Haa with the Blue Planet Divers from Koh Lanta. The dive team is very professional, well organized, with attention to every... read more detail to ensure everyone's safety. They took time to teach the required basics, and to answer all our questions about the diving process. Our dive instructor Philip did an amazing job looking after us and adjusting the dives to match our abilities. We did three 40+ minute long dives in three different sites with stunning underwater scenery. They also have a professional underwater photographer coming along for the dives, so you can get very high quality pictures of your adventures if you're willing to pay extra. The food was great, everyone was friendly, so overall an awesome day to remember!
