We felt completely safe and looked after and could not recommend him and Blue Planet Divers high enough! Thank you for such an amazing experience.

    We did 4 dives... read more and an open water course, plus we stayed at their hotel (the dive house) which was extremely comfortable and convenient, you get out of the boat and you're 10 meters away from your room.

    Laurens was a great instructor and guide, we saw a lot of beautiful ocean life and had a pretty epic experience. The staff on the boat is also quite professional and friendly, they run a tight operation and make you feel safe.

    There is also a professional photographer, Matt, who does amazing work.

    Highly recommended!

I've seen a lot of bigger fish like Trivoli, Barracuda, etc. Not to forget, I met a whale shark in Koh Haa 1 too.

  • star rating  The whole experience was amazing! Our diving instructor Dom was great! Incredibly patient, calm and made us feel safe. He was full of knowledge and happy to entertain our questions... read more and shown us some amazing sights. He would explain what the minimum requirements were for each skill set by PADI to complete the course but would also go beyond to add the best tips and advice to stay completely under control and safe in any situation. starting slowly in a pool eventually taking what you learn out to sea. Everything from the gear they provided to the transportation to and from the dive school was top quality. We moved hostel mid way through the course and it was made easy by them offering to store our backpacks while we were diving and then dropping us at our new place. The boats were great, the catamaran especially quick! Highly recommend this dive school and Dom if he is available though i got a sense all the instructors were great! A real diving community vibe! Because we decided to do the course out of the blue i wasn't really sure what to expect. The first sea dive was mind blowing, the feeling of weightlessness made me feel like i was flying in an alien like world full of colours and amazing communities of coral and fish, each telling its own story. After each dive was over i just couldn't wait to get back in. Little extras such as offering extra dives while you were out were available for a small added fee and also underwater photographers documented the whole experience should you wish to share the memory with family. Thanks again guys!

Also very kind and experienced Dive Masters. Moreover, there take care of everything, setting up all equipments, and then cleaning up after your dives. I will dive with them again!

  • I only had 3 days time in my vacation where I wanted to do my Open Water. All of that was connected to a lot of planning and compromising and... read more Blue Planet and especially Max didn't call anything of it a problem and made it possible for me to dive in that small amount of time I had. The course and the people at Blue Planet is amazing. From my Pool Sessions to the last dive I have felt welcomened on the boat and part of a diving family. The diving instructors are very professional and take their job very serious. I can only recomment doing your certifications with them. Brice was the best instructor I could have asked for. He had enough patience for all my questions, called out the mistakes I made but also told me what I really did well. He loves to explain everything in detail what is very helpful. It might be more pricey here than in Koh Lanta but the courses are profesional, you are never more than four students per instructor and if you are as lucky as I was you might even have a 1 on 1 class. Definitely my best experience I had over my 4 weeks in Thailand.

His schedule is tight. I'd awesome experience of Basic Diver course with Raf before. He has passion in diving and he knows how to address non-experience divers who may be nervous when jumping into the sea. He has good attitude and he's very professional, high patient and kind. Highly recommended!

  • We had an absolutely amazing dive trip to Koh Haa with the Blue Planet Divers from Koh Lanta. The dive team is very professional, well organized, with attention to every... read more detail to ensure everyone's safety. They took time to teach the required basics, and to answer all our questions about the diving process. Our dive instructor Philip did an amazing job looking after us and adjusting the dives to match our abilities. We did three 40+ minute long dives in three different sites with stunning underwater scenery. They also have a professional underwater photographer coming along for the dives, so you can get very high quality pictures of your adventures if you're willing to pay extra. The food was great, everyone was friendly, so overall an awesome day to remember!
