Kled Geaw Wreck
“Divers are loving its simplicity!”
Perfect site for a first time diving on a wreck.
HTMS Kled Geaw Wreck Site is an old Thai Navy ship built-in the year 1948 for the Norwegian Royal Navy. After eight years, it was sold to the Royal Thai Navy, renamed and used as a transport support vessel. In this reef wreck, a number of large holes were cut in the ship helping it to sink. These holes allow qualified divers to enter and explore the interior of the ship. It is a colossal wreck, 47 meters long and 382 tons heavy.
Great Articial Wreck!
Besides these tons of steels, this artificial reef cargo has been amazingly filled with life on it. A huge plethora of soft, hard corals and fish species have taken the ship as inhabitats. Visibilty can be great most times, makes you able to spot all stuning sea life sceneries.
This cargo wreck was sunk on the 19th March 2014 near to the west coast of Phi Phi Ley. Kled Geaw Wreck Site is small army boat and you will be surprise by the amount of species leaving there. It is where to spot huge schools of fish! Yellow stripped snapper, barracudas, and even surprisingly cat fish and juvenils immense schools, just recovering the whole ship. A perfect place as well for macro life inhabitats or rock fishes, all divers are loving it. The best time for diving this wreck will be the “High season” from November to May, but should still be able to dive on most days during the rest of the year.

Big Thanks to Blue Planet for a great day 3/3. And specially thanks to Brice who was a very professional and nice diveinstructor. He gave me a very good refresh for my OW cert because its been a while sins my last dive. After that we did two really good dives at Koh Bida.

Together with my son and daughter we booked a day dive trip to Koh Haa, Hin Muang and Hin Daeng, with Blue Planet Divers. Although a bit expensive (specially after Koh Tao), we were very satisfied with the high quality of their service. The office staff were kind, friendly and helpful with information in both english and french. Highlights: catamaran trip to dive sites with tasty food and enough space to chill and admire the beautiful landscape * well maintained equipement * Koh Haa is a must! With caves, extraordinary biodiversity and a gorgeous setting. Thanks to Yann, Johan and Fins for their diving support. Highly recommended!

Dive company with great attention to safety We joined as a family of 4. The guides were brilliant and so safety conscious. Filled me as a nervous diver with huge confidence. The dive sites were superb and the team tried to avoid busier places. Great focus on respect of marine life too. My youngest son enjoyed snorkelling with a dive master while we were diving. The guides gave detailed pre and post dive briefings. The boats were fantastic with plenty of space and the food was plentiful and superb. The whole crew worked hard while we were on board.
My wife and I tried Discovery Diving with BPD. My wife can’t swim very well and got nervous a few times, but our instructor Corrina was very good and managed our dives calmly and expertly. James, the photographer, took some incredible pictures of our dives and we ended up purchasing them all. As first timers we thought maybe this was standard, but when we showed the photos to friends who went diving in Phi Phi island with a different operator (we didn’t ask who), they were blown away.
This was my first dive and I booked the discover scuba diving. I appreciate that the instructor was taking time to explain all the instructions and detailing what we saw after each dive. I felt like he had a lack of patience sometimes under water and that’s a pity when you work with beginners.. so I told him nicely to be patient. On board you have plenty of food and drinks which is always nice to have. Thanks to the thai guys for preparing everything but also by helping us to get off the water as it’s quite heavy. Overall it was a very good experience and I am looking forward to continue the Padi courses.
Absolute phenomenal! It was my first two-dive after OW certificate. I did a refresher course (if your last dive is more than a year ago you do a refresher for safety reasons), and my boyfriend did a DSD (Discover Scuba Diving). We had the best time and our instructor is really helpful! And the view was splendid. Saw a lot of fish and corals and other sea animals that I couldn't even name them! They also have a big boat with breakfast and lunch provided. If you want to experience the amazing underwater world of the Andaman Sea, just go to BPD and I promise you'll have a great time.
